Welcome to KINABALU ASSOCIATES - First Aid training with recognised qualifications working across YORKSHIRE, NORTH WEST, NORTH EAST and Nationwide.

Kinabalu Associates is an accredited ITC training provider of OfQual,  SQA  and HSE approved ITC First Aid qualifications.  Our Emergency First Aid at Work courses (6hrs) and First Aid at Work (18hr and 12hr ReQualifications) are  Health and Safety Executive (HSE) accredited under approval centre number 1670/96.   Kinabalu Associates works with the Awarding Body ITC First Aid Ltd, to deliver nationally recognised Outdoor/Mountain First Aid courses and Sports First Aid.

  • To meet first aid at work regulations:HSE Emergency First Aid at Work (6hrs)
  •                                                           HSE First Aid at Work (18hrs)
  •                                                           HSE First Aid at Work Re-Qualification (12hrs)
  •                                                           Annual Basic Skills Refresher (3hrs)
  • To meet Outdoor (National Governing Bodies) requirements - SCQF/SQA Outdoor First Aid (16hrs)
  • To meet Early Years Foundation Stage or Ofsted requirements - QCF Paediatric first aid (12hrs)
  • ITC Certificate in Sport, Exercise and Fitness (10hrs) - SQA regulated
  • First Aid for Sport, Exercise & Leisure (4hrs).  ITC certificated
  • Activity First Aid (12hrs) for those that require specific first aid training that contains additional illness and injury content (common medical emergencies and casualty damage) to that found on a typical one day EFAW course. 
  • Bespoke first aid training courses, including those for under 16's in Schools or Duke of Edinburgh Award Schemes.
  • Level 2 Award in CPR and AED (1Day) QCF

Where required, our first aid training qualifications are subject to rigorous external scrutiny by the First Aid Approvals and Monitoring Section (FAAMS) of the HSE and the official regulators of qualifications in England, Wales & Northern Ireland - OfQual, and the official regulator in Scotland - SQA.

In keeping with current good practice, the training function provided by Kinabalu Associates is separate from the awarding function provided by ITC.  ITC is an accredited Awarding Organisation whose full name is ITC First Aid Ltd. We are approved and accredited by ITC following a rigorous approval process, ensuring consistent quality standards on all Kinabalu Associates courses and trainers.
